Since I was born and raised right above the equator, I didn’t experience the 4 typical seasons. I experienced rain and sun (in a very simplistic way of saying it). There’s an astrology system for people in the Southern Hemisphere because of course the seasons are opposite from the Northern hemisphere.

TROPICAL IS FIXED

Tropical is attached to the 4 seasons, the year beginning on the Spring Equinox, then the Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox and Winter Solstice. In any country of the world these Solstices and Equinoxes still occur of course, it’s just experienced differently.

My wonder is, what meaning does Tropical take when you don’t experience the assigned archetypes associated with the seasons and how does its meaning affect the way you interpret a chart?

THE ARCHETYPAL MEANING OF TROPICAL

Most mainstream information on Tropical is still coming from Northern (or 4 seasons) locations, there’s somehow a collective agreement on the meaning of all astrological archetypes based on it, but to a point they can be entitled or assuming in its meaning in the face of different weathers and how we experience each season and its timing all around the world.

TROPICAL AND HUMAN DESIGN

Tropical is based on the Earth’s relationship with the Sun and fixed on the seasons according to the Northern Hemisphere, so where are the symbolic nuances within the system to be used with different weathers and their corresponding archetypal story in different parts of the world? Especially for systems like Human Design which are dependent on Tropical Astrology with a Northern Hemisphere take.

Can you share your ideas and knowledge with me?

xoxo, denisse.
