Frustration is a good sign | Generator’s 101

The generator's cue to be present.

an X screen caption describing the good side of frustration by Anna Falby

I saw a post on Instagram (last slide) that I immediately associated with Human Design and the Generator's Not-Self. And since I've already blogged on behalf of Transference it felt only accurate to do the same for this one.

Frustration is a signal

During the worst moments, frustration feels like a choking limitation, like you're not allowed to expand.

Frustration feels like repressed energy.

That sounds good to me, because then THERE IS ENERGY. Frustration means you're connected to life still, you are alive, you want in.

Being aloof, unalive, numb is the real dangerous zone for a Generator, because you're no longer connected to life force. Whereas Frustration allows you to identify that your energy is being misdirected or misused, it's an alarm to change your actions.

As a generator myself, sometimes I fear Frustration. That choking sensation builds, but only when you don't listen to it.

AREAS OF FRUSTRATION

As a Generator yourself, where in your life do you feel Frustration? How could you change directions here? How are you listening to the circumstances in front of you? How are you responding?

Now, as a Generator yourself, where in your life do you feel numb?

We are supposed to respond, but sometimes responding through the not-self can be better than not moving at all.

Accept Frustration into your life, not to dictate it but to teach you where your mind stopped listening to your body.

xoxo, dens
