The cosmic relationship between Tropical and True Sidereal
The meaning behind using both systems.
I’ve been learning a lot about how to explain to myself the use of Tropical and True Sidereal.
There’s something in True Sidereal that feeds on the idea that Tropical isn’t everything. Of course it isn’t, but it’s easier to connect to astrology knowing exactly what method to use. It is not so overwhelming to use both but what still makes me feel lost is how to use each.
TROPICAL
Tropical up to this moment (for me) is about being here on earth, the solar system in relationship to the earth, Venus being born, our physical nature, mother earth. I saw a video that made me feel at ease about the idea of tropical being our heritage, what we inherit from our ancestors, because it’s the seed from the ground.
SIDEREAL
And then we have Sidereal (or True Sidereal) which for now seems like the Earth in relationship to the Solar System, the forever-growing of our nature, kind of like taking a piece of Play-Doh and stretching it to it’s fullest capacity.
This analogy gives me some sense of purpose with these two systems. It shows the value of each, and the relationship they have with each other.
THE WHEELS
Another astrology use of each is to have the wheels of each system together, and this is what defines the age we’re in, this is something more complex that I can cover another time, but a quick example is that during the Spring Equinox (which marks the beginning of Aries), in the sky we actually see the constellation of Pisces still, and this overlap marks that we’re still in the age of Pisces.
MY FAVORITE WAY
I still find the idea of one being the seed of the ground and the other the everlasting growth of our nature more compelling, but in the end they're just theories, at least for now.
Anyways, these are conclusions that have a long way to go the more I learn, and the more I put it into practice in my life.
P.S. if you have something to say, please share from a place of kindness, it is a very divisive topic and I’m not here to shame or to be shamed about my discoveries
