I don't have the statistics on True Sidereal, but the more and more I see people joining Astrology, the normalization of not only knowing your Zodiac Sign but also your Moon and Rising, makes me feel less weird to be honest. However, the more commercial and mainstream Astrology gets, the more you realize the amount of astrology systems there are.
In Tropical alone you can have Whole Sign, Placidus, Equal House and a LOT of other ways to read, then you got Vedic Astrology, then you also have astrology for the Southern Hemisphere and so on. Now True Sidereal -which I'm currently very attracted to-.
I don't mean to shit on Tropical
Tropical is my most beloved system, my first love really; especially Placidus and Whole Sign, they were my doors to the astro heaven, but thinking Tropical is everything and the only route to self-awareness in the astrology world is very naive and limiting. Not that limitations are bad, I know that some people work best by following one type of system and not letting anything else get in their way. To me, seeing others system fucked me up at first, -and to think there is so much I still don't know!- but now I feel a little bit more at peace, all roads lead to Rome.
